As far as dies go, I considered cobbling together a makeshift set using a .32 H&R Magnum shell holder and sizing die, along with the expander and seat/crimp dies from a .32 ACP set. While looking online, I saw that Lee offers a carbide die set for .32 S&W, so I went with that instead.
S&W also built a few .32 S&W Longs on the K-frame. These tend to be rather rare, and you don’t run across them every day. I was fortunate to pick up a 4″ M&P in .32 S&W Long a while back, and it has quickly turned into one of my personal favorite revolvers.

5. Much like the original .32 H&R Magnum, the .327 Federal Mag is a lengthened, magnum iteration of both the century-old .32 S&W and the H&R. Where it excels is in the case, with 1/8″ more The gun came with and has been fired with “.32 S&W” i.e. short rounds. However, the cylinder has a interior shoulder in each chamber in the front approximate 3/8 inch. This allows a “.32 S&W Long” but NOT a “.32 S&W H&R Mag”. Do you have any model information and is this gun chambers for both the .32 Short & Long?
The Victor name was used on revolvers sold by mail order houses. Sometime in the 1920’s or 1930’s they began stamping the H&R name into the frame on the outside of the butt. So, if your Victor has no H&R name stamped into the frame it would be an earlier one. As far as I know, there are no serial number lists available to date older H&R revolvers.
