Modern Army Combatives, also known as MACP – or simply “combatives” – is a fighting system used by the U.S. Army to train soldiers for dangerous hand-to-hand combat situations, and in some cases builds a foundation for those choosing to compete in combat sports such as Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and Mixed Martial Arts.

I’ll even give you a link to the official field manual, FM3-25.150, called (appropriately enough) “Combatives”.
BJJ takes several years to learn, ARMY combatives less than a few months. The Army’s level four class only scratches the surface of the techniques involved. So, outside from the dishonesty of the people producing this video, the Army in general deserves credit for teaching sloppy techniques, and then passing it off as BJJ.

There are many Soldiers of all ranks against it. I can not understand why they are. We are in the US ARMY not the girls scouts, not food services, not office work persay.
