Being in the military service, pregnant Soldiers are expected to meet strenuous physical fitness standards when they return to their jobs after having a baby.
Low back and pelvic girdle pain affect up to 70% of women during pregnancy and postpartum. In this course, physical therapists will explore the etiology of these disorders, and observe the evaluation and treatment of a pregnant patient with low back and pelvic girdle, for immediate acquisition of skills and knowledge for clinical decision making for this patient population.
