.The Belfoca was a popular folding camera for type No. 120 rollfilm, made by Belca.Made for 6x9cm images, It could be used with a mask for 6x6cm exposures. It had features that facilitated film load, exposure counting and closing the camera.
Offered in Catawiki’s German Cameras auction: Original Dresden Camera Belca Beltica with Meyer Trioplan 2.9 / 50. For its age in good condition for adding to a collection. Shutter works at all speeds. I cannot determine the exactness of the shutter speeds. The folding mechanism works excellently. The bellows look good.

In this mode the release button had to be pressed twice, the first time for opening and the second for closing the shutter. Note that this same camera was produced in the very same Dresden factory from 1946 to 1950 as the Balda Baldina. The factory and camera names were changed to Belca and Beltica after trademark litigation issues were settled.
