.With the release of the D5 and D500, Nikon have introduced an “automatic AF Fine Tune” feature into their range of dSLR cameras. We’ve spent a couple of days with our D500 in the Reikan lab running tests to get an idea of how Nikon’s new feature performs.

Hello fellow members. I have a question regarding the D7200 AF fine tune and how to fine tune zoom lenses (24-70,70-200,150-600). I have seen several videos on fine tuning prime lenses but nothing on zoom lenses.

I assume Fine tuning auto focus for zoom lenses is probably even harder with too many variables. No point in having all this resolution when the images are not sharp. has anybody tried to fine tune AF for a Nikon zoom lens and did they have some form of success? #25. “RE: D850 AF Fine Tune
The auto Fine Tune helps a lot. But on my D500, it’s quite hard to work on Zoom lenses fine tuning. My old 17-55mm f2.8 suffer of a small back focus at 17mm and front focus at 50mm.
