It would be possible to re-wire but that complicates the operation. Also, I would mention we run the refrigerator overnight when we boondock and the batteries fare much better than when we had the Norcold. By the way, I’ve added a couple of links to my first post that give info on the specific model of refrigerator and Iron Horse RV.
