Yes, there is a minor Carth romance. Basically, all you need to do is keep talking to him and get him to tell his whole story, just like you do with Bastilla. It has a really lame ending and doesn’t play out as well as the Bastilla romance, (which is also pretty lame), but it does add to the game’s story a bit.
