I’ve had the IC-706IIG and IC-7000. Those are both fine radios. The IC-7000 is way upscale in features, CW memories, voice memories, etc.
IC-7000 costs more (I don’t think I can justify it new, but there’s a used one. Yaesu FT-857D costs less, and the color scheme can be set to adequately match
FT-857 OR IC-7000. Here’s the output power of the 7000 from the manual page 148: Transmitter •Output power : SSB, CW, FM, RTTY 2–100
