Between the OKi/Metcal and Hakko, the FR-810 is a much better unit with additional features IMHO (850 series models they came out with were simple, but performed very well and were reliable).

Hakko FR 810 is a turbine powered digital SMD hot air rework station. It can provide hot air with a temperature of up to 600 Degree Celsius having and having airflow of up to 115L/min. The right amount of airflow and air temperature can be achieved using the digital controls. This allows it to be used on low density board to high density boards.
To use HAKKO FR-810 with a conventional HAKKO nozzle, attach the included conversion adapter. Purchasing a conversion adapter for each different type of nozzle will help make work more convenient. *Conventional nozzles refer to the optional nozzles for use with HAKKO FR-801/802/803B.
