The LDG RT-100MK2 is a 100 W automatic antenna tuner for split installation. The tuner can be installed directly at the antenna and is supplied with power via the coaxial cable. The tuner is designed for unbalanced antennas and has beside the two PL jacks for input and output, an additional screw for connecting an ground wire.
The LDG AT-100Pro is the next step in the evolution of the automatic tuner. It will match dipoles, verticals, inverted-Vees or virtually any coax-fed antenna. With an optional LDG balun, you can also use longwires or antennas fed with ladder-line.
Yaesu radio’s are among the best, and LDG makes a dedicated bolt-on tuner for the FT-897, but that leaves a big chunk of the Yaesu product line with no dedicated tuner. Of course, most LDG tuners will work just fine with Yaesu radios, butn it sure would be nice to have it integrated to the radio.nn LDG’s new YT-100 is just that.
The LDG RBA 4:1 4:1 balun is designed to allow easy interface of ladder line antennas and long wires to the LDG line of Automatic Antenna Tuners. The Balun operates “stand alone”, thus does not require an LDG Tuner.
