Technics SL-DD33 playing very quietly. submitted 4 years ago by kevan. I bought a Technics SL-DD33 at a thrift store for $10. When I got it home, it plays but the sound is very quiet and might also sound a bit tinny. It seems to be a stock setup with the AudioTechnica 6006 stylus cartridge.
